The Evolution of Business Opportunities

At the dawn of 20th century, Henry Ford;s model of mass production, Taylor's scientific methods of time and motion studies gained popularity. Post WW II the focus moved on to quality- also called the Deming era.

During the oil shock in 1970's the big three Ford, GM and Chrysler almost went in to the mouth of death- an indication that there was a change from selling everything that one can produce to selling what the customer needs. Then came the age of Apple and the technology era that got in to the market place design, service and innovation.

Having acquired all this, the customer is still dis satisfied for he has forgotten the purpose and meaning of life- who he is and what he is supposed to do, loneliness has begun to taunt this customer in a networked world-the matrix.

It is here counselling, providing guidance, coaching and empathetic listening have become new product offerings, the average consumer buying peace and wisdom through words of solace and succor.

However a society with lot of mental asylums like the current day society can never live happily- traffic, loud honking, restlessness, anxiety, bitterness.

The role of teachers and parents become very crucial here and they need to work hand in hand to prevent the budding citizens from being depressed and confused.. .

So how do we need to proceed then. We shall see...
